Built to be usable by everyone.
We want toca.health to work for every visitor, whatever technology they use to browse. This statement covers the website; product accessibility is assessed per deployment with each Trust.
What we’ve done
- Colour contrast is checked against WCAG 2.2 AA, including the brand accent, which is darkened for small text.
- The whole site works by keyboard, with visible focus states throughout.
- Animation, including the home-page film and the scrolling pathway sequence, respects your “reduce motion” setting, with static alternatives.
- Videos are hosted on YouTube, where captions are available through the player.
- Diagrams carry text descriptions, and structure is expressed in semantic HTML.
Known limitations
The interactive Trust picker presents its chart as a visual summary; the same underlying figures are always shown as text beside it.
